Innocent '2Face' Idibia is bringing his hit musical show, 2Face Live: Buckwyld and Breathless, to London’s IndigO2 for one night only on November 6.
Dubbed 'The African Jigga', 2Face has set the pace for many of the new generation of afrobeat starts and earned a string of awards, most recently Best International Act at the 2011 BET Awards.
The show comes hard on the heels of the Afrobeats Festival at Hammersmith Appollo in August, which featured Wizkid, the Mohits and a special appearance from Kanye West, who came out to support his newest signing to his GOOD Music label, D'Banj.
2Face Live: Buckwyld and Breathless sold out in the first week of its release in Nigeria last year, and the organisers hope to replicate its success in London.
The show also features an impressive line-up of leading Naija talent, including hip hop duo Show Dem Camp, Idols West Africa 2007 winner Timi Dakolo and Zimbabwean singer Cynthia Mare, who has just finished supporting Sean Paul on his UK tour. Murmurs of Lynxxx and Tiwa Savage's involvement are to be confirmed.
