In just two days Afrotainment and Museke will join forces to host an awards ceremony celebrating the creativity stemming from Africa and the African diaspora.
The Afrotainment Museke Online African Music Awards will be broadcast live from New York on September 24, with dance, fashion and music performances from Fally Ipupa, Les Nubians, Iyadede, Viviane N'Dour and Blitz the Ambassador.
Angelique Kidjo is also set to win a Lifetime Achievement award for her role as an African ambassador, inspiring musicians everywhere.
"Museke Inc is run for the African Music Fan by the African Music Fan," says Museke's Tumi Diseko. "This awards platform has been used to acknowledge and publicly appreciate the talent nurtured on our continent".
Voting through the MOAMAS (http://www.moamas.com/) website closed on September 18. But you can still catch all the excitement on Afrotainment channels 751 and 667, the Dish Network in the US, and online at Afrotaimanet and MOAMAS.
