London’s Sanderson hotel – where we shot Estelle for the latest issue of ARISE – just upped its snazzy. The Philippe Starck-designed 5-star hotel, known for its celebrity-drenched Long Bar and delightful courtyard also houses the Agua spa, which now offers bespoke Jurlique treatments and products.

The natural beauty brand has customised a menu especially for Agua that focuses on facials and body rituals using its organic aromatherapy unctions to detoxify, re-balance and hydrate all skin types.

ARISE recommends the Jurlique Herbal Revitalise facial. This 50-minute journey into botanical bliss not only promises to wash away tired skin caused by stress (or one too many mojitos the night before) it can also help with anti ageing thanks to the 15 hydrating plant extracts. Also available are Brightening and Purifying facials, as well as the Japanese Mint Cooling Cocoon Ritual, a 90-minute hot-oil body wrap.

Post treatment you can indulge in some retail therapy thanks to the recent addition of a Luna & Curious boutique. The design collective opened its first store in Shoreditch in 2006. This second branch is hidden away through a mirrored door in a corner of the hotel’s lobby. On offer is a fine selection of British jewellery, ceramics, millinery, art and oddities. Taxidermy fans won’t be disappointed.
